“How to Use the New SBA Refinance Opportunity; 504 and 7A”

The SBA is always seeking ways to further promote small business, including by making owner-occupied commercial real estate more financeable. SBA recently came out with its new refinance loan products for such properties. Notably, SBA loans were previously limited to just purchases only.

No matter who we are or what we do in commercial real estate, we should have at least a basic familiarity with the SBA’s new refinancing opportunities. This way, we can be more comfortably conversant with others rather than being left out of a discussion that could have resulted in a deal.
